Ben Shapiro Says Unaffordability Chaos And Corruption Crushed Republicans
Ben Shapiro posted last night that Republicans got crushed in the midterms because of three things working together: unaffordability, chaos, and corruption.
Democrats swept key races nationwide, flipping Senate seats in Texas, Kansas, South Carolina, Iowa, and others that had been solidly Republican for decades. They also took the House, giving them control of both chambers.
Shapiroโs take, from his video breakdown, is that votersโ top concern was the cost of living by a wide margin. Layered on top of that was a sense of ongoing chaos and questions around corruption, which together created a wipeout.
He pointed to issues including the handling of the Iran war, tariffs, and other distractions as factors that fed into all three.
