Desantis Urges Republicans to Confirm Judges Before Losing Senate Control

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis warned that Democrats’ incoming Senate majority could block conservative judicial appointments for the remainder of President Trump’s term. He said Democrats have secured at least 54 seats and could reach 56, urging Republicans to fill every available judicial vacancy before January 3, 2027. “You cannot leave anything on the table,” DeSantis warned.
