UK: Labour has pulled out of power-sharing agreements with the Green Party in 11 local councils following a row over the Greens’ policy declaring Zionism a form of racism.

Labour had previously warned that it would end cooperation with the Greens unless local councillors rejected the policy and called on their national leadership to reconsider it.
Of the 18 councils with power-sharing arrangements, Labour said 11 had failed to meet its conditions.
Labour Party chair Bridget Phillipson said the policy “crosses a line” and that Labour could not work with any party supporting it at any level of government.
