Israel: The Central Elections Committee has officially approved last week’s election results
Israel: The Central Elections Committee has officially approved last week’s election results, following an extensive review that found no evidence of irregularities affecting the outcome.

The announcement comes despite attempts by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party and its allies to delay certification over allegations of electoral fraud and foreign interference, which remain under investigation.
Committee chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg said that even if the suspicions were confirmed, their potential impact would be too limited to change the election results. He warned that attempts to undermine the legitimacy of the vote posed “a real danger” to Israeli democracy.
The official results have now been presented to President Isaac Herzog, who is expected to begin consultations on forming a new government.
