Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman lashed out at President Donald Trump, declaring, "Pride comes before a fall."
He accused Trump of dragging the United States into an unlawful war against Iran and claimed that American voters had sent him a clear message in the midterm elections.
"Attacking Iran does not bring victory. It only results in defeat," the spokesman said, warning that continued confrontation could have far-reaching consequences.
