Vessel Struck by Unknown Projectile Near Strait of Hormuz
UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that a vessel was struck by an unidentified projectile approximately nine nautical miles northeast of Lima, Oman, on November 1.
The projectile caused a hole in the vessel's starboard side.
The ship and its crew were reported safe, with no environmental damage.
Authorities are investigating the incident and have advised vessels in the area to exercise caution.
