Israel Issues Urgent Cybersecurity Warning Over Threat to Food Refrigeration Systems
Israel's National Cyber Directorate has issued an urgent warning to supermarket chains, food companies and logistics centers following a wave of cyberattacks in Europe targeting refrigeration and freezer systems.

According to the warning, hackers gained control of cooling systems, causing large quantities of food to spoil, significant financial losses and, in some cases, fires.
Organizations operating internet-connected refrigeration and control systems have been urged to immediately strengthen cybersecurity protections, conduct security checks and report suspicious activity to Israel's national cyber hotline at 119.
Officials warn that a similar attack could disrupt Israel's food supply chain and cause widespread damage.
