Boeing 737 Sinks into Runway in Bangkok!

A China Airlines Boeing 737-800 operating flight CI840 from Bangkok to Kaohsiung became stuck after its main landing gear sank into the runway at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Heavy rainfall is suspected to have weakened the ground beneath the runway. The incident forced a five-hour runway closure, with all 124 people on board safely evacuated.
