Zurich Airport's Famous Cow-Mooing Skymetro Faces Six Months of Changes! ๐จ๐ญ
Starting Today one of the two Skymetro tunnels will close for renovations until May 2027, with trains operating through the remaining tunnel at reduced capacity.
If you've ever been to Zurich Airport, you know the famous cow sounds that moo as you travel through the tunnel! Replacement buses will operate during peak hours, but flights will continue normally.
Once completed, the upgrade will increase passenger capacity by 25%, reaching 10,000 passengers per hour in each direction.
