Kanfei Chayim coordinated the medical transport of two young babies from Israel to CHOP (Childrenโs Hospital of Philadelphia) aboard an El Al Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
El Al made special arrangements, overriding its standard configuration to accommodate two bassinets and provide high-flow oxygen, which standard portable oxygen concentrators cannot supply.
Ambulances brought the babies directly to the aircraft tarmac, allowing them to board without delay.
Upon arrival in the United States, Linden Hatzolah and Flatbush Hatzolah were waiting to assist.
