Plain-clothes police are targeting persistent fare dodgers across London's transport network under Operation Vector
TfL says the joint operation with British Transport Police stopped 467 people in its first month, issued 156 penalty fares and led to 24 arrests. Officers are also checking for wider offences. Fare evasion costs the network an estimated £190 million a year.
