Rep. Haley Stevens received an extended standing ovation and a special presentation Sunday evening at the Yeshiva Beth Yehudah dinner, held at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan. The event drew more than 2,000 community leaders, according to Rabbi A.D. Motzen, national director of government affairs for Agudath Israel of America, who shared video of the presentation on X. The warm reception came after Stevens made a bold political move by crossing party lines and endorsing Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers in Michigan.
