DeSantis Says Record Democrat Turnout Almost Cost Florida
Gov. Ron DeSantis says Democrats just recorded their highest midterm turnout in modern Florida history.
He says the only reason the state stayed red was the GOP’s huge registration advantage.
“They’ve never beaten us in turnout as a percentage in a midterm. The only thing that saved us? We have so many more Republicans than they do.”
DeSantis called it a major wake-up call. He warned that Florida Republicans have to keep crushing it on registration or the state is at risk.
