Attorney General Letitia James also secured another term, receiving 3,470,333 votes, or 58.9%. Her challenger, Saritha Komatireddy, received 2,292,938 votes, or 38.9%, leaving James with a margin of more than 1.17 million votes.

State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli won with 3,701,631 votes, representing 62.8% of the vote. Republican challenger Joseph Hernandez received 2,027,847 votes, or 34.4%. DiNapoli’s margin was particularly wide, with nearly 1.67 million more votes than his opponent.

Closer to home, the State Senate races brought significant attention from Boro Park voters. In the 22nd Senate District, Sam Sutton received 37,201 votes, or 62.3%, while Nachman Caller received 20,456 votes, or 34.2%. Sutton won by 16,745 votes.

In the 17th Senate District, Larry He received 22,786 votes, representing 55.8% of the vote. Steve Chan received 16,827 votes, or 41.2%, giving He a winning margin of 5,959 votes.

Also on the ballot was the race for New York’s 10th Congressional District, where Brad Lander received 167,343 votes, or 80.4%, compared with 31,912 votes, or 15.3%, for Republican challenger Jennifer Moore. Lander won by more than 135,000 votes.
