Coastal South Florida’s 25th District Race In National Spotlight On Election Day
The race for Florida’s newly drawn 25th Congressional District is drawing national attention as voters head to the polls.
Democratic incumbent Jared Moskowitz faces Republican Scott Singer, the former mayor of Boca Raton. The district runs along the coast from around Delray Beach and Boca Raton through parts of Broward into Miami Beach, covering sections of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.
Both candidates have focused heavily on lowering costs for families, insurance, and supporting Israel while fighting antisemitism. The district leans competitive after redistricting, with recent forecasts calling it Lean or Tilt Democratic.
CBS Miami’s Najahe Sherman broke down the matchup and what’s at stake in a new reel.
Polls close at 8 p.m. ET. Results will come in tonight.
