Hillsborough Deputies Responding To Active Threat At Citibank Center In Brandon
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT teams are on scene at the Citibank Center in Brandon after responding to an active threat.
The corporate campus sits near East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Interstate 75. Sheriff Chad Chronister said a person is in custody and the situation appears to be a targeted incident.
The building is being evacuated. Aerial footage showed SWAT units moving through the campus.
HCSO is asking everyone to avoid the area of Queen Palms Drive and Falkenburg Road until further notice while crews finish clearing the scene.
This remains a developing situation.
