Former White House Press Secretary: "The Problem Wasn't the War With Iran. It Was the Ceasefire."
Ari Fleischer, who served as White House press secretary under President George W. Bush, sharply criticized the Trump administration's handling of the war with Iran in a response to Vice President JD Vance.

Fleischer argued that the United States should have continued military operations until the Iranian regime collapsed, rather than agreeing to a ceasefire.
"We were on the verge of creating a new, more peaceful Middle East, and then we blinked first," he argued.
He said the ceasefire left the region facing uncertainty, higher costs and continued American military deployments.
"The problem isn't the war. The problem is the so-called ceasefire."
