Former Pentagon chief military planner Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia is under Justice Department investigation for allegedly leaking classified information about Ukraine, Iran, and U.S. weapons stockpiles to reporters from The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, Axios reported Tuesday. Sylvia, fired by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth last week, reportedly failed four polygraph tests and acknowledged unauthorized disclosures during recorded interviews. He could face criminal charges or a military court-martial as the investigation continues.
