Netanyahu Calls for Broad National Government, Warns Against Coalition Reliant on Islamist Parties
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for the formation of a broad national government led by Likud, warning that a minority coalition dependent on Islamist parties would threaten Israel's security and Jewish identity.

Netanyahu accused opposition leaders of prioritizing political interests over national security and argued that only a broad coalition of national and Zionist parties could effectively confront threats from Iran and extremist organizations.
He also demanded a full investigation into allegations of foreign interference and funding aimed at influencing Israel's election results, citing instructions reportedly issued by Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg.
"Election integrity is a foundation of democracy. We must protect it, and we must protect our country," Netanyahu declared.
