President Herzog is expected to give Gadi Eisenkot the mandate to form a government early next week, earlier than planned, after he received a majority of recommendations, Yaara Shapira reports.

According to Shalom Stein, the sources expect progress once Eisenkot receives the mandate, when it will become clear whether the secret negotiations were serious.
