Bomb Squad Searches Cruise Ship Bound for Israel Following Security Alert in Greece
Greek authorities are searching the Crown Iris cruise ship, operated by Mano Maritime, following a bomb threat at the port of Syros.
The Panama-flagged vessel was preparing to sail to Haifa with 940 passengers and 597 crew members on board.
Initial inspections reportedly found no suspicious objects.
The search involves port authorities, a trained detection dog and a private diver. A specialized underwater unit from the Greek Coast Guard is also expected to conduct a more extensive inspection.
