An Israeli passenger, 79, lost consciousness aboard an El Al flight from Tel Aviv to Bangkok today, prompting the crew to urgently request medical assistance.
United Hatzalah medic Yechiel Mintz immediately responded, joined by an intensive care physician from Poriya Hospital who was also onboard.
Thanks to their rapid response and treatment, the passenger received medical attention and the aircraft continued to Bangkok WITHOUT making an emergency landing — not the typical ending to a midair medical emergency!
