United's New Coastliner Has Arrived
United has inducted its first Airbus A321neo Coastliner, registered N74751, marking a new chapter for its premium transcontinental service.
The aircraft features 20 Polaris lie-flat business-class suites, 12 Premium Plus seats and 129 Economy seats, for a total of 161 passengers.
United has 40 Coastliners planned, primarily for Newark–Los Angeles and Newark–San Francisco routes.
The aircraft was delayed by Airbus delivery issues, with its entry into passenger service pushed back from the originally planned summer 2026 launch.
