American Airlines Removes Trump’s Name From West Palm Beach Gate Screens
American Airlines has reverted its gate monitor displays from “Pres DJT, W Palm Beach” back to “West Palm Beach, FL.”
The change removes the reference to President Donald Trump, whose name was added when Palm Beach International Airport was renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport.
The change was noticed this week, shortly after the midterm elections, although reports indicate the display update actually took place in August as part of a planned transition.
