Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced that he intends to assign the mandate to form the next government this coming Sunday, following the conclusion of consultations with all Knesset factions. Herzog said that while the results of the consultations appear clear, it remains uncertain who can actually form a government due to mutual vetoes between and within the political blocs. He plans to hold personal discussions with several party leaders, pledging to “leave no stone unturned” in efforts to establish a stable government.
