Likud, the final party to meet President Isaac Herzog, has recommended its leader PM Netanyahu to form the next government, leaving Gadi Eisenkot with 67 recommendations to Netanyahu's 46.

- Herzog is expected to give a short statement after tonight's consultations on the next steps before assigning the mandate. Reports suggest he may first meet with Eisenkot and Netanyahu. The mandate is expected to go to Eisenkot early next week.
