The IDF demanded overnight that Yaari Lieberman, an Ultra-Orthodox man arrested shortly after his wedding, sign a commitment to report to military authorities on a date to be determined.
Lieberman was advised to sign the commitment so he could return to his new wife. Following his signature, his punishment was reduced, and he was released through the efforts of attorney Shlomo Hadad.
Overnight, riots broke out in Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh following his arrest. According to footage published by local media, police again threw stun grenades directly at protesters.
