Bomb Threat Targets Israeli Cruise Ship in Greece

The Israeli-owned Crown Iris cruise ship, operated by Mano Maritime, was reportedly delayed Tuesday at the Greek island of Syros following a bomb threat. The vessel was carrying 1,537 people, including 940 passengers and 597 crew members, and was preparing to return to Haifa, Israel. Greek authorities launched security searches involving bomb-sniffing dogs and divers, while those aboard were ordered to evacuate as a precaution. Initial inspections found no explosives, but further checks were underway. The incident comes amid a wave of bomb threats affecting flights across Europe.
