Trump’s dramatic election day announcement that Israel will stop receiving $4B in US aid by year's end is only a headline, and we don’t know how it will play out. It’s been under discussion between Israel and the US. But the fact that Trump announced this today as Americans go to the polls shows how much opposition there is even among Republicans to aid Israel and how desperate he is for votes. Not a good sign.
