DeSantis Says Elected Officials Are Supposed To Be Servants Not Saviors
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says political leadership should be judged by results, not by treating politicians like saviors.
Speaking after Florida held its statewide offices while Republicans took losses nationally, DeSantis pointed to the coalition built in the state as a model.
“People need to understand elected officials are supposed to be servants,” he said.
He argued that Florida’s approach offers practical lessons for a tougher national environment, emphasizing delivery over rhetoric.
