Conservative and Labour councillors in Westminster have submitted a joint motion declaring that Zionism is not racism

It follows the Green Party's disputed conference resolution. If approved, council leaders would write to local synagogues and the London Jewish Forum offering reassurance. The motion, which has not yet passed, also distinguishes legitimate criticism of Israeli government policies from antisemitism.
