Salford council papers propose redirecting £120,000 earmarked for centenary murals into support for Jewish communities after the Heaton Park synagogue attack

Combined with other funding, the proposed pot would total £250,000 for resilience, trauma support and tackling antisemitism. Councillors are due to consider the plan on Tuesday. The money has not yet been approved under the revised proposal.
