The New York Times reports that Israel has shared intelligence with the United States warning that Iran may be preparing to use chemical weapons against Israel or other adversaries. The intelligence has divided American officials, with some taking the threat seriously and others suggesting Netanyahu is attempting to pressure Trump into resuming major military strikes against Iran.
The report also reveals that U.S. Central Command has prepared plans for strikes against Iran beginning as early as Wednesday, following today's midterm elections. Three American aircraft carriers are positioned in the region, while diplomatic efforts continue to prevent renewed fighting.
