Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair is expected to land in Israel Tuesday night for meetings with senior officials, as the White House tries to revive momentum on its plans for Gaza. Blair is one of the leading figures on President Trump's Board of Peace, which oversees the US plan for postwar Gaza.
The visit comes as Israel is in political deadlock after last week's elections and talks with Hamas terrorists have stalled. Early stages of the plan have also been held up, with Israel reportedly not yet allowing construction of an outpost for the planned international force.
