The meeting followed a temporary ceasefire in Oleshky she personally helped arrange so humanitarian aid could get through. She is pushing to build on it.
Melania: "Together, we can create something more enduring than a temporary ceasefire."
She also urged both sides to "foster cooperation, and brighten the path toward lasting peace."
Ukrainian President Zelensky awarded her the Order of Princess Olga, one of Ukraine's highest honors.
