Final Touches at 770 Expansion Ahead of Historic Opening
Cement was poured today outside the 770 expansion project, completing the new landscaped sidewalk as construction enters its final stages ahead of the historic opening this coming Shabbos, in time for Kinus Hashluchim.
Notably, the Machne Yisroel sign has been installed on the building. The sign previously stood on the old building, which housed the Kollel for many decades. It was originally placed there at the directive of the Rebbe.
Also noticeable are the trees in front of the building, which were left untouched. These are fruit-bearing trees, whose removal is prohibited according to Halacha.
With the finishing touches now underway, the expanded 770 is preparing to welcome the thousands of Shluchim arriving for the Kinus Hashluchim this Shabbos.
