Although the body of R’ Yitzchok Elmkies z”l has reportedly been released after 55 days, the kevurah issue remains unresolved, with concerns over a possible transfer to London causing further delays — despite a clear written psak from Harav Chaim Yosef Dovid Weiss shlit”a that he must be buried in Uman and not transferred to Britain. Release is not kevurah. The psak must be respected without further unnecessary delay.
