Dallas Mavericks Under New Controlling Ownership

Patrick Dumont and his wife, Sivan, have purchased Miriam Adelson’s shares in the Dallas Mavericks, giving the Dumont family a controlling 69% stake in the NBA franchise. The deal was completed in October and announced on November 3. Former owner Mark Cuban retains approximately 27%. Dumont says the family is committed to building a championship team and developing a new arena in Dallas.
