Iran Seeks Russian S-400 Air Defenses — Telegraph

Iran is seeking Russian S-400 air defense systems, The Telegraph reports, citing a senior Iranian official who called it the central demand of a letter from Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to Vladimir Putin. Iranian security chief Mohsen Rezaei delivered the message in Moscow on Thursday. Rezaei did not disclose its contents and described the talks as focused on regional security and ending the war. No deal has been announced, and Russia's strained air-defense stocks from the war in Ukraine could complicate any sale.
