Former Israeli Diplomat: U.S. Midterms Are a Referendum on Trump, Not Israel

Lenny Ben-David, a former senior Israeli diplomat in Washington and former head of AIPAC's Israel office, says the U.S. midterm elections are primarily a referendum on President Donald Trump, not Israel.

According to Ben-David, with the exception of the Michigan race, the elections are not a referendum on Israel. He does not expect a significant shift in AIPAC's influence, emphasizing that its strength lies in its ongoing work with all 435 House members and 100 senators.
