A worker at Israel's Tourism Ministry pavilion at the World Travel Market fair in London was attacked on Wednesday morning on her way to the event, in what was described as an antisemitic assault. A day earlier, an anti-Israel activist confronted her at the pavilion's desk and filmed her.
Also on Tuesday, activists draped "crime scene" tape over the Israel stand before security dragged them out. Tourism Ministry Director-General Michael Izhakov said: "It is a tourism campaign, not a political campaign," adding that whether Israel advertises in Britain "is not their decision."
