Europe: An Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Rome has made an emergency landing at a French military airbase following a bomb threat

The aircraft is said to have landed safely at Évreux airbase in Normandy.

The incident follows a series of bomb threats affecting passenger flights across Europe earlier this week, all of which proved to be false alarms.
