A new investigation into a decades-old land development agreement between Lakewood Township and a company established by Bais Medrash Govoha has renewed questions about the transfer of approximately 220 acres of municipal property, the millions of dollars subsequently generated through land sales, and whether the township received adequate compensation for land that once belonged to the public.
