An 8-year-old girl was hospitalized in critical condition at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Yerushalayim with severe flu complications
She improved and was taken off a ventilator after about 24 hours. The girl had not received the seasonal flu shot, and doctors are urging parents to vaccinate their children against influenza.
