Sen. Susan Collins’ Maine Office Vandalized on Election Day

The sidewalk outside Republican Sen. Susan Collins’ office in Biddeford, Maine, was vandalized overnight with the words “BLOOD ON HER HANDS” painted in red, along with a pool of red paint near the entrance. Collins' chief of staff, Katie Brown, stated: "This is another incident in a series and the second attempt at our Biddeford office to intimidate the Senator and her staff. These tactics are disturbing, but not effective. Our staff is undeterred and on the job." Police are investigating. The incident follows another act of vandalism at the same office in September, as Collins faces Democrat Troy Jackson in a closely contested race for a sixth Senate term.
