Israel's President Isaac Herzog says he plans to decide on Sunday who will be tasked with forming the next government

Gadi Eisenkot received recommendations from 67 lawmakers, compared with 46 for Benjamin Netanyahu. Herzog says those figures do not settle who can actually build a government. He will hold further direct talks with party leaders before making his decision.
