Israel's health system went on alert Tuesday after two people who recently returned

Israel's health system went on alert Tuesday after two people who recently returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo developed fever and were isolated on suspicion of Ebola. The Health Ministry stressed that the cases are only suspected and that no confirmed case has been diagnosed in Israel. The two were taken to Sheba and Ichilov medical centers as officials opened an epidemiological investigation to trace their contacts. The ministry urged travelers back from Congo within 21 days who develop a fever to stay home and contact it right away rather than going to a clinic.
