The government is holding urgent talks with Poundland bosses to try to prevent the retailer from collapsing.Poundland is facing insolvency despite strong trading, putting more than 10,000 jobs and hundreds of stores at risk.Minister Kate Dearden is expected to meet the company's chief executive and finance chief within days to discuss possible rescue options.
