Patrick Bet-David Shares Voting Challenges In Broward County

This morning, Patrick Bet-David posted video from outside a Broward County polling place while trying to vote.

He described running into obstacles but still casting his ballot, then urged others to do the same no matter what comes up.

Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott said a barcode system issue briefly delayed check-ins at multiple sites right after polls opened at 7 a.m. The glitch was fixed by about 7:20 a.m. Officials said no one received the wrong ballot and no votes already cast were affected.

Some early voters left the line before the issue was resolved.

One precinct in Davie was also relocated due to flooding.

Polls remain open until 7 p.m. Anyone in line by then can still vote.

Florida Scoop’s Take: Election Day always brings a few hiccups. The message from the ground is clear, get out and vote if you haven’t already.
