Election Day has come to a close, and voters across New York have made their choices in a number of important races

THE VOTES ARE IN: A Night of Big Wins

Election Day has come to a close, and voters across New York have made their choices in a number of important races, with several familiar names earning another term in office and new leaders set to represent local districts.

Among the winners are Kathy C. Hochul, who won reelection as Governor; Thomas P. DiNapoli, who will continue as State Comptroller; and Letitia A. James, who won another term as Attorney General.

Closer to home, Sam Sutton won the race for State Senate District 22, while Larry He was elected to represent State Senate District 17. Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein also secured another term representing the 48th Assembly District, which includes Boro Park.

The results mark an important night for the Boro Park community, with local representation in Albany continuing through the next legislative term.

A thank you goes to all those who took the time to get out and vote. Every vote is part of the process, and the community’s participation helps ensure that its voice is heard.

Congratulations to all the winners. May the coming term bring productive leadership, meaningful progress and good things for New York.
